L3 Media Callum

I researched into existing movie websites, and the codes and conventions they have. I researched into ‘Maze Runner: The Death Cure’ website and Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle website. I chose to do some of the same thing in my website but with my own creational twits, such as I had a animated home screen of falling pills, this is similar to Jumanji, this is because it adds a different feeling to my website as it is not that common to see. Like in Maze Runner there gallery layout, I used as a skellington, but added my own twist to it. The only difficulty i encountered was when making the maue bar, linking the correct page to button. I overcame this by asking for peer help. I decided to use the colours i used because they contrast from each other and are nice on the eyes. I feel like some of my website has kept the same continuity from the film, because of the animated background and modern feeling. On the other hand, it loses some continuity with the fact that the film text font and

My role is the Design Layout This is the welcome page, I added a video off falling pills in the background. I chose to do this, because this associates the drug element of the video, furthermore as it moves this makes the page have more individuality.

This is my website before we edited it from the rewiews. What i am going to change is the size and clarity of the buttons.

1A. Props Character Theory In Alice's story she had some of the characters from  Vladimir Propp's Theory, these being the hero ,the villain, the helper ,the donor and the princess. Alice is represented as the princess and the hero because she doesn't want to drink the alcohol and drinks water: Princess. Because you follow Alice's journey she represents Hero.  in addition Alice informs the other characters they should be in class. Henry is the villain because he spikes her drink with a drug and also Punches her. Callum plays the helper because he comes to the aid of her when she is pushed furthermore he invites Alice to the party this also makes him be the donor. The production does use some of the characters, but on the other hand not all of the character types are used, this is because the crew used, was not big enough to cover all characters. 1B. Todrovo's Theory My story has the same equilibrium/ disruption/ new equilibrium structure that Todrovo outlines
